Vijitra Luang-In

Associate Professor of Biotechnology, Mahasarakham University

Vijitra is an Associate Professor of Biotechnology at Mahasarakham University Faculty of Technology. She has over 10 years of experience lecturing in Biotechnology and conducted research in multiple medical, agricultural and food-related aspects of this subject (including bioactive natural products, friendly gut bacteria, animal feed additives and food preservation). Vijitra has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed papers, her work appearing in ‘PLOS ONE’, the ‘Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry’, ‘Molecular Nutrition & Food Research’, ‘LWT Food Science & Technology’ and other journals. She is a former recipient of the ‘Top 10 Rising Researcher Award’ (a grant the National Research Council of Thailand awards to new researchers) and has an H-index of 15 in Scopus.
