Postdoctoral Fellow, Sports and Exercise Sciences, University of Birmingham

Viv works as a post-doctoral fellow for the University of Birmingham. She completed her BSc at the University of Auckland, New Zealand majoring in Biological Science and Statistics before completing a Masters of Sports and Exercise Science at Massey University, New Zealand, and her doctorate in Sports and Exercise Sciences at the University of Sydney, Australia. She is currently working on a project looking at the benefits of the Mediterranean diet and regular physical activity in people at risk of Dementia.

As a person who loves and hate exercise at the same time, she is keen to find ways to improve exercise participation and maximise benefits gained through being physically active.
