Whitney Monaghan

My background is in screen, media and cultural studies and my research examines the representation of gender, queer and youth identities, digital culture, and new forms of screen media. I am the author of Queer Girls, Temporality and Screen Media: Not 'Just a Phase' (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016), the founder and co-editor of Peephole Journal and an organizing comittee member of the Melbourne Women in Film Festival.
