Whitney Rosenberg

Lecturer, Law of Persons and Family, University of Johannesburg

Whitney Rosenberg teaches the Commercial Law program at the University of Johannesburg. Whitney obtained her LL.B. degree from the University of Johannesburg the same institution which conferred her with a master’s degree in 2011. Whitney previously worked as an attorney at a law firm in Craighall Park (Corien Potgieter Attorneys Inc.) where she also successfully completed her articles of clerkship. Whitney’s previous places of employment include the Independent Advocate’s Chambers in Cape Town; The University of Johannesburg’s Divorce Law Clinic as well as Bennett and Francis Attorneys in Northcliff. Her passion for teaching is what led her to academia. Whitney’s research interests lie in the sphere of contract law, constitutional law (Bill of Rights), civil procedure, private law and various fields of commercial law.
