Wildan Sena Utama is a PhD candidate at the Department of History, University of Bristol and lecturer at the Department of History, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. His current research explores the transnational networks between Indonesian and Asian-African activists at the Afro-Asian solidarity conferences and organisations that promoted the ideas of decolonisation, anti-imperialism, and world peace. His book about the history of the Bandung Conference, Konferensi Asia-Africa 1955: Asal Usul Intelektual dan Warisannya bagi Gerakan Global Antiimperialisme was published by Marjin Kiri in 2017.
