Trained in U.S. social history at the University of Wisconsin, my research and writing has focused on American evangelicalism and fundamentalism, creationism, and the Christian Right (including the Ku Klux Klan). At the University of Dayton I teach first-year students in history, and M.A. and Ph.D. students in theology. And I blog at rightingamerica.net.
