Woodrow W. Winchester III

Executive Director of Texas Engineering Executive Education, The University of Texas at Austin

Woodrow W. Winchester, III, PhD, CPEM is a proven engineering educator and program director with over ten (10) years of technical program and project management experiences. Currently the Executive Director of Texas Engineering Executive Education (TxEEE), Woodrow is leading the development of more impactful, inclusive, and holistic professional graduate and continuing engineering education (CEE) programming. Core to his efforts are: (1) connecting curricula to industry recognized credentials (e.g., The International Council of System Engineering (INCOSE) Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP) and the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) Certified Professional in Engineering Management), (2) advancing the education and engagement of more equitable and inclusive engineering approaches to technological design and management, and (3) exploring and initiating interdisciplinary approaches to addressing the Grand Challenges of Engineering. Woodrow is a Certified Professional Engineering Management Professional (CPEM) and serves as ASEM’s inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE/I) Director.
