Professor Emeritus of Sociology, Department of Socioeconomics, University of Hamburg

Over the course of my academic life, I have taught the theory and sociology of communication, the history of political thought, the social history and theory of labour and social movements, the sociology of culture and resistance, and the history, sociology and theory of racism. I have written several books and numerous papers on all these subjects (some downloads are available via https://uni-hamburg.academia.edu/WulfDHund). I am currently working on the different stages of the history of European racism since Antiquity. Furthermore, as the general editor of the ‘Racism Analysis Yearbook’, I try to bring together scholars of racism from different faculties, and with different approaches, to discuss relevant subjects on the topic.
