In 2010 I started my undergrad in Earth Sciences at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. I graduated with a project in palaeomagnetism, for which I first visited Liverpool to use their lab. In 2014 I started my masters at the same university, in Earth Structure and Dynamics, or geophysics. After this MSc I returned to Liverpool to start a PhD in palaeomagnetism. I studied the magnetic field in the South Atlantic region between 8 - 12 million years ago and how this region differs from the rest of the Earth's magnetic field. I successfully defended my thesis on February 4th, 2022 and am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in Liverpool.
