Yazad Irani

Yazad Irani is currently a post-doctoral researcher in the GVL and Immunotherapy group at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI).

He completed his PhD in 2015, investigating new drugs to prevent the growth of unwanted blood vessels and new ways to deliver them to the eye.

After moving to SAHMRI Yazad's research focus has shifted from the blood vessels themselves, to what flows within them.

He is currently investigating changes in the immune system in response to leukaemia.
