Lecturer in Physiology, The University of Melbourne

Joseph is currently a Lecturer in Physiology at The University of Melbourne. Prior to joining the faculty at The University of Melbourne, Joseph was lecture in Human Physiology and Neuroscience Major convenor at Swinburne University of Technology, and previously Lecturer in Human Physiology in the School of Pharmacy and Applied Sciences at La Trobe University, Bendigo. Joseph has taught extensively preclinical biosciences to a wide spectrum of allied health students, including in human physiology & anatomy, pathophysiology, pharmacology and advanced neuroscience.

Joseph earned his Ph.D. at The Howard Florey Institute for Experimental Medicine and Physiology (now Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health), in the Autonomic Neuroscience Laboratory. After completing his graduate studies, Joseph spent time at the Neurological Sciences Institute, Oregon Health and Sciences University. Joseph's research interest include the neural control of metabolism and body temperature regulation.
