I received my PhD in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. I'm currently conducting research on science communication at the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania.

My research focuses on media effects and persuasion, combining novel computational tools for automated content analysis with experimental and survey designs to study the coverage and discourse of health and science issues in new and legacy media, and its effects on audiences’ perceptions and behavior
