Postdoctoral Researcher in Evolutionary Biology, UNSW Sydney

I am a recent PhD graduate in evolutionary biology.

As a biologist I am fascinated with the weird and wonderful, but as an evolutionary ecologist this mainly means sex!
My background is entomology (the study of insects) which I use to ask questions around the evolution of ageing and lifespan, mating strategies, the bizarre world of insect genitalia, the invisible world of chemical signalling, dietary ecology and much more.

I am curious about much, but recently I have become interested in diet as a driver of speciation and how the correlated growth of physical traits can drive evolution.
