Senior Lecturer in Environmental Economics, University of Waikato

I am a Pākehā who grew up in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. My research focuses on individual behaviours in relation to environmental and resource management, particularly in a policy context. I specialise in experimental economics as well as survey methods.

I have applied my research to a range of policy areas, including climate change, freshwater, sustainable technologies and the circular economy.

I've been at Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato since 2017. I spent a stint from 2018-2019 working in a joint appointment as an Economic Analyst at the Ministry for the Environment, working on freshwater policy. My current focus is on my externally funded projects, all in the area of policy and behaviour change for the environment.
