Ziada completed a BSc in Behavioural Neuroscience in Montreal, Canada before moving to King’s College London where she completed an MSc in Mental Health Studies. She has since started a PhD with the Twins Early Development Study (TEDS), at the Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Centre under the supervision of Prof Robert Plomin and Senior Lecturer Sophie von Stumm. Ziada's research focuses on genetic influences on environmental choices and the role of parents in children's educational outcomes.
