Dr. Križan is a Professor of Psychology at Iowa State University and an affiliate of the Center for Study of Violence. He directs the Sleep, Self, and Personality Laboratory that examines how sleep and personality intersect with social interactions and self-regulation, and how this applies to high-stakes contexts (e.g., investigative interviewing). Dr. Krizan's research is funded by the National Science Foundation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and he is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and the Society for Personality and Social Psychology. He also serves as an Associate Editor for Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin and for Journal of Research in Personality.
