I research on policing, urban insecurity, and violence in postcolonial contexts, with a focus on Pakistan. I obtained my PhD from the School of Security Studies, King's College London. I have worked as a teaching fellow at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Global City Policing, University College London. I am also Co-Coordinator for the Urban Violence Research Network.
