Racial discrimination can cancel out wealth

Racial discrimination has been found to have a negative effect on middle class African-American men.

The study’s authors used data from the National Survey of American Life for the study, specifying an income of $55,000 or greater as representing “higher socio-economic status”.

The research is important in determining the link between racial discrimination and the education, income and occupation of African-American men.
