University at Buffalo, The State University of New York is a public research university with multiple campuses located in Buffalo and Amherst, New York, United States. It is known as New York’s public flagship university. The university was founded in 1846 as a private college, but in 1962 was absorbed into the State University of New York (SUNY) system.
