Dingos have been given a bad reputation by the Azaria Chamberlain scandal but have been less harmful to humans than domestic dogs.
Management of dingo populations should be kept separate to this issue, and Australia in general should reconsider its pest control measures and develop a more holistic approach.
Australia has suffered one of the highest rates of species loss in the world, and predators need to be reintroduced to control other populations, not eradicated.
