Global climate maps to assist biodiversity management

New global maps provide a simpler way of analysing climatic changes and their effects on biodiversity.

The maps show where new thermal environments are being generated and where existing environments may disappear. They reveal how fast and in what direction temperatures are changing.

The study will assist in managing species migration as plants and animals adapt and change location with shifting climates.
