Adam Kuczynski is a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Washington. His research interests include understanding the mechanisms of social connection and isolation as they relate to health-related outcomes, identifying the ways in which we foster connection with others, and developing transdiagnostic psychosocial interventions to improve relationships and decrease human suffering. In his dissertation research, Adam aims to understand the role of momentary feelings of loneliness in the development of depression symptomatology by using smartphone-based experience sampling methods.
