Postdoctoral research associate, University of Southampton

I'm an astronomer at the University of Southampton, where I am leading the Black Hole Hunters citizen science project. Black Hole Hunters asks members of the public to join us in searching the archives of the TESS space telescope, looking for the gravitational lensing signatures of otherwise invisible black holes.

I have a decade of experience doing citizen science with the Zooniverse, including classifying variable stars for my PhD and before that working as a computer programmer as part of the team behind the Zooniverse citizen science platform at the University of Oxford.
