Alan McMunnigall

Tutor in Creative Writing, University of Glasgow

Alan McMunnigall’s fiction and essays have appeared in numerous journals and magazines in the UK, Europe and the USA: these include The Edinburgh Review, Chapman, The Drouth, Outercast, The Porch and Studies in Scottish Literature. He is the editor of the Glasgow based literary magazine thi wurd to which he contributes fiction and editorials. He co-edited the recent fiction anthologies Tales From a Cancelled Country (2015) and Work in Progress (2017) and his literary interests include James Joyce, Bob Dylan, Raymond Carver, Franz Kafka, James Kelman and Henry Miller. Currently he is completing a novel.
