Senior Lecturer in Dental Ethics, University of Sydney

Alexander is a dentally-qualified ethicist based at The University of Sydney School of Dentistry. His areas of teaching a research focus on the social aspects of dentistry including dental public health. He currently holds research grants from the Australian Skeptics, the Dental Council of NSW and is part of the leadership team running the evaluation of the NSW Primary School Mobile Dental Program for NSW Health.

Alongside his academic work, Alexander is also involved in dental politics as a Director for both the NSW State and Federal branches of the Australian Dental Association. He is also a Director of the charity, Filling the Gap and of the Australasian College of Legal Medicine. Alexander is passionate about advocating for quality, safety and equity in oral health in Australia and internationally.

Alexander also has a role with the Dental Board of Australia as a member of the NSW Registrations Committee.
