Alexander Lerchl

Alexander Lerchl is Dean for Life Sciences and Professor of Biology in the
School of Engineering & Science.

His research interests lie zoology, neurophysiology, neuroendocrinology and chronobiology.

He has published articles on metabolic changes in the central nervous system that are associated with learning and memory deficits in mice (BMC Neuroscience 2011), and the evolution of non-image-forming retinal photoreceptors in marine and terrestrial vertebrates (Naturwissenschaften, 2008).

He regularly comments on studies on mobile phone radiation risk.
