Dr Alexandra Paddock is Assistant Senior Tutor and Lecturer in English for Middlebury-CMRS Schools Abroad, and is also Lecturer in English at Keble College, University of Oxford. Before this post she was Lecturer in Medieval English at Keble College, University of Oxford (2015-2018). She has been Lead Curator on the ‘LitHits’ project on digital reading at the Faculty of English, University of Oxford from 2017, and a Director at LitHits Ltd since 2020. Alexandra specialises in english literature and reading the natural world, with an emphasis on animals in medieval writing. She is currently writing about undermining and unearthing metaphors in medieval english texts about badgers and other earth-moving creatures.
