Alexandra Pavliuc

PhD Candidate at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford

Alexandra is a PhD student in Social Data Science at the Oxford Internet Institute. Alexandra’s research explores network visualization techniques that can highlight structures and strategies of computational propaganda across social media platforms. Her research in this field has been published by the NATO Defence Strategic Communications Journal, presented as a poster at Eurovis 2020, and has been funded by The Wilson Center, the Mozilla Foundation and Institut Montaigne. Prior to joining the OII in 2020, Alexandra completed her MSc in Data Science at City, University of London. She also holds a BA in Professional Communication with a Minor in Physics from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
