Alison Gash is the author of Below the Radar: How Silence Can Save Civil Rights (Oxford University Press, 2015) Her research focuses on advocacy strategies used to advance civil rights and the legal and social limbo that stems from civil rights struggles in transition. She is currently the co-author of a manuscript charting the legal and social pitfalls that challenge LGBTQ parents in their efforts to be recognized as parents. She has also published work on collaborative governance and conflict of interest legislation.
