Allan Spessa's research focuses on analysing interactions among climate, fire, vegetation and emissions from biomass burning at regional to global scales using a combination of computer simulation models and statistical models. He's particularly interested in how Earth Observation data can be used to be drive, test, constrain and ultimately improve models.
