Allison Daniel is a PhD Candidate in Nutritional Sciences and the Collaborative Specialization in Global Health at the University of Toronto. She is also a journalist in the Certificate in Health Impact program at the University of Toronto. Her doctoral research focuses on children with severe acute malnutrition in a hospital setting. She is based mainly in Toronto, Canada and part-time in Blantyre, Malawi.
