Assistant Professor, Canadian Centre for Vaccinology, Dalhousie University

Dr. Alyson Kelvin is an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University and a research scientist at the Canadian Centre for Vaccinology in the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her research focus is understanding the host immune responses to emerging and re-emerging viruses in high-risk groups such as infants. Her work on influenza virus imprinting on the infant immune system is being used for universal vaccine design.
