Amalio Fernandez-Pacheco

EPSRC Early Career Fellow, Physics and Astronomy, University of Glasgow

Amalio is an EPSRC Early Career Fellow at the University of Glasgow, where he investigates new ways to fabricate nanomagnets, aiming to create a new generation of spintronic devices. He is recognised worldwide as an expert in 3D nano-printing of magnetic materials using electron microscopy, being also an expert in magneto-optics and thin film deposition.

Amalio holds a PhD in Physics at the University of Zaragoza, Spain, and has worked as a postdoc and research fellow in UK institutions since 2010, including Imperial College London, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Glasgow, which he joined in 2018.
