Amanda Tattersall

Amanda Tattersall is an Associate Professor of Practice in Urban Geography and works with the Sydney Policy Lab at the University of Sydney.

She researches social change strategy, author of Power in Coalition and People Power in Cities (forthcoming with Kurt Iveson). She is also an experienced civil society leader, co-founding GetUp, founding Sydney Alliance and community organising in Australia. She is the host of the ChangeMakers podcast that tells stories of people trying to change the world (the podcast began in 2017 and has had over 1 million downloads)

At the Sydney Policy Lab she leads their community-led research method and is the Academic Chair of the Real Deal project that develops place-based solutions to climate transition.
