Ana M. Greco is a post-doctoral researcher currently working in a research project in the VICRIM group, Department of Studies of Law and Political Science (UOC), under the supervision of Prof. Irene Montiel. She also belongs to the research group on empirical and applied victimology. Her main research lines are studies about prevention, detection and intervention in violence against children from the school context. She is also interested in methodological studies about novel techniques that can be applied to her research topics and psychometric properties of questionnaires addressed to children. She has contributed to several national and International events and published several articles in these areas.
She has also taught Psychometrics in the Psychology Degree (Universitat de Barcelona, UB, 2018-2021), in Education (Universitat de Lleida, Universitat de Vic) and directed and assessed over 10 master thesis, and she is currently co-directing a PhD thesis. She has large experience in training teachers and other school staff members in violence detection and intervention.
She is a bachelor in Science of Education by the University of Buenos Aires (UBA, 2011), postgraduate in Inclusive education (UB, 2015), MsC in Research in Behavior and Cognition (UB, 2016) and PhD in Bran, Cognition and Behavior (UB, 2021).
