Sea ice microbial physiologist, University of Tasmania

Dr Andrew Martin is a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Antarctic Gateway Partnership (a Special Research Initiative of the Australian Research Council) at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (UTAS). He is a microbial ecophysiologist with an interest in sea ice microbes and the development of microsensors to examine biological performance in marine microbial communities.
