PhD Candidate in Epidemiology and Public Health, UCL

Anika is a PhD student at the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at University College London (UCL) in the UK. She has a background in Nutrition and holds an MSc in Nutritional Sciences from Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg in Germany. Anika is part of the Whitehall II study group and the MoodFOOD project (an multi country collaboration investigating the role of diet and obesity in the prevention of Depression). Her current work focusses on the bidirectional relationship between diet-related factors and depression over the adult life course
