Ann Glang is academic expert in concussions and brain injuries. At the University of Oregon, she is a research professor and director of the Center on Brain Injury Research and Training (CBIRT). Ann designs interventions to support educators and families of children and adolescents with brain injuries, including concussions. She and her team developed a web-based concussion management tool for high schools. Brain 101 shows coaches how to identify and respond to concussions, equips educators with the basics on how to support students when they return to the classroom, and trains parents to know what to do if a concussion happens to their child. Ann also led the development of In the Classroom After Concussion, a web-based training for educators on supporting students after brain injury.
