Anne McDaniel

Anne McDaniel, PhD is Senior Associate Director with the Center for the Study of Student Life. She earned a PhD in Sociology at The Ohio State University and was a postdoctoral scholar at Columbia University’s Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy.

Dr. McDaniel’s research interests include gender and racial inequalities in higher education, especially as they relate to student experiences and persistence. Her research has appeared in many peer-reviewed journals, including the Annual Review of Sociology, Demography, Demographic Research, Sociology Compass, and Comparative Education Review.
