Dr Anthony Chmiel is a postdoctoral research fellow in cognitive psychology and music at the MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development (Western Sydney University), where he is working on an ARC Discovery Project. Anthony also has ties to UNSW, the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and the University of Padova (Italy). Anthony has published in leading journals such as Psychology of Music, Musicae Scientiae, Frontiers in Psychology, and Journal of Voice. His research concerns music and aesthetics, emotions, ageing, wellbeing, education, performance, and computation.
