Lecturer in Anthropology, Monash University

I studied and taught at Humboldt University, Berlin, and also in Heidelberg. I have spent the past few years travelling back and forth to Indonesia to get a better understanding of what life is like for asylum-seekers and other migrants waiting for an official decision on their status. My research interests include: Anthropology, Migration Studies and Indonesian Studies.
