Athena McConnell

Associate Professor, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, University of Saskatchewan

Obtained a medical degree from Queen's University, followed by pediatric residency at the University of Saskatchewan and a pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at the University of Calgary. Received a Master's degree in Medical education from the University of Calgary, and joined the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Saskatchewan after completion of training. Clinical interests include vaccine preventable diseases and vaccines, and is a member of the Special Immunization Clinic network in Canada.
