Aviva's PhD research investigated the contribution of parents' reading-related knowledge to the feedback they provide children in reading and writing contexts.
She is now completing a second post-doctoral fellowship at McGill where she researches the impact of adverse childhood experiences, such as trauma and neglect, on children's language development.
