Ayu Diasti Rahmawati

Ayu Diasti Rahmawati is a lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada where she teaches courses on democracy, gender and politics, as well as peace and conflict studies. She is currently on leave to pursue her doctoral study in political science at the University of Florida. Her research engages with the issue of civil society and autocratization in Southeast Asia, women of autocracy, nonviolent resistance, as well as inclusive citizenship and participatory democracy.
