I am a Visiting Researcher at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) and am also affiliated with the Center for International Policy Studies (CIPS) as a Research Associate at the University of Ottawa. Prior to this role, I served as an Assistant Professor and PhD Program Coordinator at the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Bahir Dar University in Ethiopia. Additionally, I held the position of the 2021/2022 African Presidential Scholar at the University of Michigan in the US.
My academic background includes a PhD in Political Science and International Studies, which I obtained from Bahir Dar University in December 2021. Prior to that, I completed my master’s and undergraduate studies in Political Science and International Relations at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia.
