Barbara Boelmann

PhD Candidate, UCL

Barbara Boelmann is a PhD student at the Department of Economics at UCL, the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM), and the University of Cologne. She holds a BA in Economics and Chinese Studies and an MSc in Economics, both from the Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany.

Barbara is passionate about understanding the structural factors underlying inequality on the labour market. To that end, she works with applied microeconometric methods to answer questions at the interplay of social and gender norms, family background and equal opportunities.
