Research Fellow in Political Agroecology, Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB)

My work as research fellow in political agroecology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB, BE) and as honorary fellow at the Centre for Agroecology Water and Resilience at Coventry University (UK) sits at the intersection of political ecology, agroecology and science and technology studies. My main line of inquiry revolves around the entanglement of dominant economic and political interests with agricultural research and innovation, in the context of a historically constructed organisation of modern sciences in disciplinary silos. At the same time, I explore alternative pathways toward socio-ecological sustainability and justice which do not subscribe to the same economic dictates.
