My research covers three different areas:

-Searches for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence, optical SETI. This includes the Vanishing & Appearing Sources during a Century of Observations project (VASCO) and the ExoProbe projects.
-Structure and coevolution of active galactic nuclei (AGN) and their host galaxies.
-The Unified Model of AGN.
