Research interests: Improving understanding of the influence of climate change on extreme weather events and their impacts. Building an inventory of the impacts of extreme weather attributable to climate change. Using our experience of past events to inform adaptation, rather than waiting for yet more crises to unfold, as we continue into the brave new world of 1.5 degrees and beyond. The changing likelihood of the most extreme, potentially unforeseen events.
