Ben Gidley has taught in the Department of Psychosocial Studies at Birkbeck since 2015. Before that, he spent six years at the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society at Oxford University. His research has focused on migration, cities, integration, diversity, racism and antisemitism, both in the UK and across Europe. Publications include Antisemitism and Islamophobia in Europe: A Shared Story? with James Renton (2016) and Turbulent Times: The British Jewish Community Today with Keith Kahn-Harris (2010).
